LAST CLASS

Assalamualaikum. こんにちは。

Final project presentation...
My group have 4 members including me. (Edorin-san to afiqa-san to syafiqa-san.) We are talking about yakuza. Others group share about hanami(cherry blossom festival), vocaloid(such as hatsune miku), building construction technology in Japan, internet technology(malaysia vs japan), pop culture, martial art(aikido vs silat) and others.

After the class end, we take pictures together~ Below this are my classmates.(But not everyone there...)

Never get these marks for other subjects. :')

Besides the quizzes, i want share some notes..

+ For a noun, when we want to connect them, we use "to". (と)。
+ But for an adjective, we use "kute". (くて)。

Example 1: kudamono to yasai wa suki desu! (I likes fruits and vegetables)
Example 2: Ano mise wa oishii kute hayai desu. (That restaurant is delicious and quick)

Question words:

-nani = what?
-doko= where?
-donna= how?
-itsu= when?
-dare= who?
-naze= why?
-dono= which? (can answer, kono-this, sono-that,ano-there)

*nanji desu ka? (what time is this?)
*dono mise desu ka? (which restaurant is it?)

HAIKU

Assalamualaikum. Konnichiwa~

What is haiku? Haiku is short poem, origin from japan. It has 3 lines of 5,7,5 syllabus of sentences. It is write vertically and read from right to left. 

My haiku..sorry there is a mistake -,-'
From right, vertical line: aoi sora (5), hoshito tsukino yoo(8, this should be 7 only actually), kirei desu(5).

We can also try to write the short poem using others languages as every word made up from syllabus. Try it!

Bulan dan bintang,
Ciptaan yang memukau,
Cahaya indah.

HOUSE

Basic conservation when we visit someone house. :)

What i have in my room.(heya)

わたしの いえは いっこだて です。わたしの へやは ひろい です。
ベッドと エアコンが あります。クロ一ゼット ふたりが あります。ベッドの よこに テブルが あります。トイレの よこに いすと ひきだしが あります。ドアと まどが あります。

Positions:
1. ue- above
2. yoko-beside
3. naka-in
4. shita-under


















KANJI

Some kanji words that i try to write..:)
My sensee said that learn how to write kanji is learn about balances..

1.魚- fish
2.卵- egg
3.水- water
4.食べます- to eat
5.飲みます -  to drink
6.大きいい- big
7.小さい- small
8.新しい- new
9.古い- old
10.一時- 1 o'clock
11.5月- May (month)
12.30分- 30 minutes
13.二時半- 2 hours and half
14.月よう日- monday
15.火よう日- tuesday


COUNTERS AND FOOD

A simple essay about my family. 
COUNTERS

We use different counters for things and human...

+ Hitotsu-futatsu-mittsu-yottsu-itsusu -> this is for count things.
+ Hitori-futari-sannin-yonin-gonin -> this is for count human.

and actually there are others counter to count some things..

FOOD

(noun) ga suki desu -> +ve sentence.
(noun) wa suki janai desu / kirai desu -> -ve sentence.
(noun) wo tabemasu/ tabemasen.

wo connecter must before the verb.

*tabemasu - i eat.
*tabemasen- i dont eat.

Adjective that useful with foods:

oishii vs mazui (delicious vs not delicious) 
yasui vs takai  ( cheap vs expensive)
hayai vs osoi   ( early/fast vs slow/late)

*the negative for adjective can also be written or said as oishi kunai, yasu kunai, haya kunai. Notice that 1 vowels from the words is gone + kunai. 

* janai is for noun that is negative.

and at the end i just want to share about calendar and time..




As for the month,days, time, half, and minutes, they have their own kanji, that i will share later...

Some note about family...

Choo nan = First man/boy in the family
Ji nan = 2nd man/boy in the family
San nan = 3rd  man/boy in the family
and so on..

Choo jo =  First woman/girl in the family
Ji jo = 2nd woman/girl  in the family
San jo = 3rd woman/girl  in the family
and so on...

Choo nan no ani/otooto= My brother/ younger brother of first man/boy in the family
Ji jo no ane/imooto = My sister/ younger sister of 2nd woman/girl  in the family

Shoogaku see = Primary school
Chuu gakusee = Junior high school ( form 1-3)
Kookoo see = Senior high school (form 4-5)

Japanese Cultural Carnival

Last thursday there was a japanese cultural day. In the morning i walks through the cheerful and colourful booths. And the evening there is an interesting talk from Dr. Hiroko Shiozaki and KEIKEN talk by myJAD.

I succesfully read hiragana and katakana here and get some sweets. >.<

Udon!! Japanese Mee
Someone treat me Udon. There is two chopsticks...because one i get for the Udon (one with the plastic) the other one, i get as present for winning a game...

Waiting for the talk to begin..(this room is super cooled!)

Konnichiwa.

What i have learnt in second class...

1. Japanese sound (nihongo uta)
- No closing sound, as all the japanese characters is in syllable. (except vowels,n)
-Have word that have long vowels (ex:otoosan)
-Have word that have double consonant (ex: gakkou)

2. Letters ( 3 types)
- Hiragana: basic word for japanese language and have round shape. (ex: usagi- うさぎ)  
- Katakana: loan word, for foreign word and have sharp shape (ex: terebi-テレビ)
- Kanji: From chinese characters, more complicated to write. ( ex:sakana- 魚)
- Step to write japanese letters : Left to Right
                                                 : Top to Bottom




3. Grammar
- Words order: SUBJECT-OBJECT-VERB(SOV)
-If there is noun at the last sentence, after it add -desu.
          ex: watashiwa Hana desu.
- Has particle that connect words ( wo,ha,no)
- Verb can be varies due to mood(positive,negative,instructions,etc) and sentence aspects(present,past,future).

4. Greetings


- hajimemashite: greeting word that we use for first time meeting someone.

5. Little conservation

A: Afiqah-san desu ka?
Q: Hai, Afiqah desu.

A: Edorin-san desu ka?
X: iie, edorin-san janai, nabila desu.

6. New words
- mou ichido: one more time
- chakuseki: sit down
- kaizen: continous improvement
- wakarimashitaka?: are you understand?
- wakarimashita: i understand
- suuji: numbers
- zasshi: magazine

First Japanese Class

Assalamualaikum.

( こんにちは)Konnichiwa/ Ohayou- greeting words.
(せんせえ・せんせい)Sensee/ Sensei- A japanese honirific term for teachers, professors,lawyers,doctors,politicians, and other figures of authority.
(じごしょがい)Jigo shogai- Self-introduction.
(きりつ)Kiritsu- Stand up.
(ようこそ)Youkoso- welcome/ nice to see you.
